Titanium mesh is widely used in aerospace, chemical filtration, electrode, chlor alkali chemical industry, chemical equipment manufacturing, medicine, high-precision filter, ion-exchange membrane electrolyzer, battery current collection, electromagnetic shielding network, seawater desalination, nuclear industry water treatment and other fields.
Titanium alloy has high strength, low density, good mechanical properties, good toughness and corrosion resistance. Titanium alloy has poor processing performance, and it is difficult to cut. In hot working, it is very easy to absorb impurities such as hydrogen, oxygen, nitrogen and carbon. There are also poor wear resistance and complex production process. With the development of aviation industry, titanium industry develops at an average annual growth rate of about 8%. The annual output of titanium alloy processing materials in the world has reached more than 40000 tons, with nearly 30 titanium alloy brands. The most widely used titanium alloys are Ti-6Al-4V (TC4), ti-5al-2.5sn (TA7) and industrial pure titanium (TA1, TA2 and TA3).
Titanium has the advantages of light specific gravity, high strength, low temperature resistance, super strong acid and super alkali resistance (for example, 60% nitric acid, the corrosion rate of titanium mesh in nitric acid solution is only (0.001mm. A-1), and it is not easy to oxidize. Therefore, titanium mesh products are widely used in aerospace, shipbuilding, military industry, chemical machinery, electric power, seawater desalination and other fields, used to manufacture titanium mesh for filtration, anode titanium mesh, ion-exchange membrane electrolyzer electrode titanium mesh and other products.
